The SITEX 2011 Electronics and Computer Fair is back once again, and this year’s show promises to be the biggest and best yet with more than 900,000 visitors expected to attend the exhibition at the Singapor Expo Hall.
SITEX 2011 Expo Singapore |
SITEX 2011 is the largest annual IT event in Singapore, introducing consumers to a range of highly innovative new technologies and products from more than 500 brands, including computer hardware, wireless applications, software solutions and digital products. However, SITEX 2011 is not just about the products it showcases – it’s also an all-encompassing learning platform for visitors to come and acquaint themselves with a range of new technologies, through a mix of fun activities and demonstrations of everything from software applications to electronic kid’s toys.
Consumers will also be able to take part in numerous contents and prize draws, including the SITEX 2011 “All I Want For Xmas” Prize Draw (S$2,000 cash prize) and the Ladies Go Tech Lucky Dip, which will see a bunch of “mystery prizes” given away to female shoppers over the course of the three-day event.
The exhibition also serves as Asia’s biggest platform for developers of infocomm products and services to build brand awareness and establish new business relationships with like-minded companies. SITEX 2011 offers developers a fantastic opportunity to introduce new products to the market, gauge reactions and meet their customers face to face. Sitex 2011 is organized and run by the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), a grouping which comprises a variety of corporate members, ranging from local start-up companies to multi-national corporations with offices in Singapore. The goal of SiTF is to promote emerging technologies in a wide range of technological fields, including Green IT, Wireless, Digital Media, Cloud Computing and Security and Governance.
